Known Issue with Turnitin Assignment Bulk Download

ISSUE RESOLVED September 21, 2016
Bulk Download was not working. 

UPDATE: Turnitin in the Learning Portal - Updated August 4, 2016

Turnitin will be available in the Portal as of August 15, 2016.

Instructors using this tool can create a Turnitin Assignment in their Portal course to which students submit their assignments electronically. With the integration of Turnitin into the Portal, class and assignment setup on Turnitin.com are no longer required.

SOLUTION: Starting with Fall 2016 courses, please set up Turnitin in your course by following the instructions outlined on the Turnitin in the Learning Portal page.


Troubleshooting Turnitin Problems

Please see Turnitin System Requirements for information on supported operating systems, browsers and technical requirements.

Turnitin also provides solutions to known issues on its support website.

  • Click on Integrations tab
  • Under the Categories menu, select Blackboard

Turnitin issues in Safari Browser

If you are experiencing issues with Turnitin while using the Safari browser, we recommend using another browser, such as Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. 

Alternatively, you may wish to try the following:

1. Click on the "Safari" menu and select "Preferences."
2. Click on the "Privacy" tab.
3. Set "Block Cookies and other website data" to "Never"

You may need to close and then re-open your browser window, clear your browser cache, and/or log out and back into the Portal for these settings to take affect. After you are finished using Turnitin, you may revert your privacy settings.
