Portfolios enable instructors and students to collect and organise documents and other files (known as artifacts) to assemble, present, and share information for documenting academic growth. Portfolios can include demonstrations of work, resources, and achievements for the purpose of both personal reflection and the exchange of ideas and feedback.
You may have a number of Portfolios, for various uses - either for class, or for personal use. Portfolios can be shared with other users and within portal courses. You can also allow visitors to enter comments about your Portfolio.
Instructors may ask their students to create a portfolio to share with a course. They can also construct a Portfolio as an assignment for a course.
