Add a Link to the Content Collection

Adding a link to your Content Collection allows you to later use that link as you are building or updating a course.

  1. Click the Content tab at the top right-hand corner of the window.
  2. Choose the appropriate Area of the Content Collection.
  3. Click the Link button.
  4. Input a Link Name.  This is a custom name that you give to the URL.  Similar to the name of a file.
  5. Input the URL.  Typically it is best to copy & paste the URL directly from your web browser to ensure it is accurate.
  6. The Options reflect settings relevant to documents shared with other users who may edit or change the file. If the file will be used by students in the context of a course, you can leave all options unchecked.
  7. Click Submit.
